Mental Health First Aid: Adults who Interact with Youth (For Parents and Caregivers)

Kids Write 4 Kids - Gr 4-8
Short Story Writing Contest. Deadline March 31, 2019. Enter the 7th Annual Kids Write 4 Kids writing contest! The winning story will be published at Amazon, Apple iBookstore, Google Play, and Overdrive for the world to read. Net proceeds from these book sales will be donated to the winner's charity of choice. In addition, the winner will be part of the judging panel for the following year’s contest.
2019 Provincial Skills Canada Competition
The 2019 Provincial Skills Canada Competition will be held May 8-9, 2019 at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Qualifying/Regional competition registration opens Feb. 6, 2019 at 8:30am. Provincial Skills competition registration opens Feb. 13, 2019 at 8:30am. Your school must be registered with Skills Alberta to be able to participate and login. Once logged in, select Provincials, Regionals or Qualifying for your students. Visit the Skills Alberta website for more details and registration links.
2019 RVS Achievement Schedules
Rocky View Schools has set the grades 6 and 9 Provincial Achievement Tests for the January, May and June 2019 test writings. These dates comply with an administration window set by Alberta Education. Schools can include these schedules in newsletters and post on their websites to share with parents, students and their respective communities.

These Educational Programs allow students to explore a range of amazing programming and digital content on the theme of human ingenuity.
